Other than TobiWan's stream (who's the most popular caster and streams tournaments 90% of the time) the most successful streams have ~2k viewers. I'm not talking about a large chunk of their viewerbase, but definitely some people would stick to replays. Just my opinion but thanks for the insight. Replays for me would be like, I watch hotshotgg's stream and see him make a big play (whether it be a really good gank or countergank) and he's also talking it through.but then I can watch the replay through spectators view and see as to why he decided to countergank and watch it happen more closely.

Of course I don't know the exact numbers but I'm pretty sure they haven't lost a large chunk of their viewers because people still prefer to watch pro's on their streams because it is more insightful and entertaining.I could be wrong though. Just like when spectator mode came out, there were issues about pro players losing viewers in their streams because people would end up just spectating.

You don't get that commentary that most pro's and casters like to do when watching a replay and so watching replays shouldn't replace watching pro's streams/VODs at all. Not necessarily, watching streams/VODs is totally different from watching a replay. So progamers and casters, are you guys willing to help the LoL community get this project started?!? (Also, it would be at your discretion to upload replays in case you guys do not want to give away any secret strategies, but older replays such as ones from the MLG Anaheim would be nice)Īlso, if anyone is interested in helping me just leave a comment and I'll get back to you guys asap. I'm not saying watching through a caster's or pro-player's view sucks (because it doesn't when you guys give excellent commentaries and explanations as to why you do what you do), but it's nice to be able to see all players on the map, be able to switch between the team's field of vision and to toggle the fog of war on/off. However, because most people would rather watch and learn from replays of pro-players, I am asking all the pro-teams, pro-players and popular casters if they are willing to provide replays from scrims, major tournaments and solo queue games? If we had a database full of these replays then the LoL community would be able to watch matches in their own pace and more importantly, in their own view.

With the new addition of spectator mode and the ability to record your own/spectated games in a spectators view using LoL recorder, I've decided to create a website that contains a collection of LoL replays.
